Is that you wanted to succeed as much as I wanted you too.

That was our biggest problem. I wanted so much out of you that you didn’t want from yourself. Those things turned into expectations, expectations that weren’t filled. I gave up, but still tried to hold on.

No one is at fault. It was just wasn’t meant to be, but there is no love like your first. 

I doubt I’ll ever be swept up like that again…

We will always have a part of each other that no one can ever take away.

I can’t really wrap my head around that we are actually over…

I know you think of me. I know you miss me. I know that half your wardrobe, I bought. I know a huge part of your coke collection, I gave to you. I know that your house is full of memories of me. You sit on my couches and my chair. I’m with you.

You carry my heart, you carry it in your heart. Nothing will change that and you know it.

I don’t want you back. I don’t want anything, really.

I take that back… I want you to be happy.

I want you to succeed. I want you to be the man you always wanted to be.

I want you to be the guy you were when you wrote me that letter at the end of junior year, when you talked about your children having a better life than yours.

I’ll always miss you, like you miss me.
